Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which rose 9.90% or 0.67 points to trade at 7.44 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Aseel Co Ltd (TADAWUL:4012) added 9.09% or 0.40 points to end at 4.80 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was up 7.69% or 0.03 points to 0.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Herfy Food Services Co (TADAWUL:6002), which fell 4.11% or 1.15 points to trade at 26.80 at the close. Sedco Capital REIT (TADAWUL:4344) declined 3.60% or 0.31 points to end at 8.29 and Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (TADAWUL:3020) was down 2.18% or 0.65 points to 29.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 221 to 70 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) rose to 5-year highs; up 7.69% or 0.03 to 0.42.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.88% or 1.38 to $74.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.83% or 1.40 to hit $77.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.00 to trade at $2,642.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.58.
