Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.25% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which rose 9.91% or 0.66 points to trade at 7.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) added 8.47% or 0.30 points to end at 3.84 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was up 6.29% or 2.90 points to 49.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AlJazira Mawten REIT (TADAWUL:4331), which fell 3.17% or 0.58 points to trade at 17.72 at the close. Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) declined 3.00% or 2.10 points to end at 68.00 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) was down 2.21% or 1.50 points to 66.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 123 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) rose to 5-year highs; rising 8.47% or 0.30 to 3.84.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.34% or 1.63 to $68.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.11% or 1.54 to hit $71.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 13.70 to trade at $2,698.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.18, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 100.44.
