Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.00%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.00% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 5.82% or 77.00 points to trade at 1,399.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 5.78% or 96.00 points to end at 1,758.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 5.55% or 4,770.00 points to 90,770.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 0.86% or 580.00 points to trade at 66,800.00 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) declined 0.64% or 190.00 points to end at 29,340.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 0.51% or 6.00 points to 1,182.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 301 to 168 and 69 ended unchanged.

Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.82% or 77.00 to 1,399.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.35% or 1.60 to $69.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.16% or 1.55 to hit $73.38 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 6.25 to trade at $2,664.75 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.46% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS fell 0.27% to 3.81.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 106.22.
